Info received from Warren Muir, on May 6th, 2010:
"..US-89 I believe was the first boat from the Melges first 5.5m series molds, there is some confusion though as Tom Omohundro had a boat built about the same time which could have been the actual first boat, but may not have been the first to have it measured.."
