The first 5.5m built in Sweden
22-11-2009
by John Svalander, 22-11-2009
S-2 Monique IV was built by my father and launched in 1950, she was the first 5.5m built in Sweden. Strangely enough S-1 was only launched one year later,,, but number 1 had been registered about a year before she was built.
Inbetween 1950 and 1951 there were supposed to have been some changes in the actual design or in the interpretation of the classrules.
