With due respect to Matti Muoniovaara, Alcyone was not designed by Bill Luders. She was kept at his yard in Stamford, CT, but was designed by my father, John B. Mooney. She was the second of the boats he designed for himself that were built by Dirk Kneulman at Ontario Yachts (the first was Antiope, US 47).
