5.5 N 8 - remarks to DNV / Note Transfer

The following note, earlier made, has to be corrected: "...The DNV Archives have reconfirmed, that 5.5 N 8 is an original Norwegian boat, built in Langedrag in 1951, for Jörgen Lorentzen, Oslo...." Now knowing N-8 was originally S-9, the earlier DNV comment was not correct.

We do copy a note earlier made in connection with N-8, to S-9: "...Lloyd's Register of 1952 and 1953 is stating 5.5 N-8 "Lully IV" to be a 1951 Laurin designed and Johannsons built 5.5, owned by Jörgen J. Lorentzen of Oslo. In 1954 the boat is called "Linda". Not listed in Norway as from 1958. If other historic data is available, please add it, so that the boat can be listed with her original sailnumber. One assumption is, that she might have been 5.5 S-9 originally..." In the meantime it has been clearifed, that N-8 was originally S-9.

The boat sailed in the early 60's, into the mid seventies as KR S 451, in Sweden. registered as a coastal cruiser.
