- The "Aisher Questionnaire" from 1963 is listing 5.5 F-12 as "Ballon Rouge", stating her to having been built in 1959, by the Aubin boatyard. Owners stated are a Mr. Fachetti and a Mr. Pare.

- The original F 12 sailnumber was discovered in a list from 1957 in "Le Yacht" nautical magazine.
F 12 is "Bravade", owned by Mr Plantier. She was designed by Camatte and built at Chiesa boatyard. She had not been yet spotted on regattas at the end of 1957.
